Meet Tommy BeniZio, the "Guy in Charge"
Tommy Benizio formed BeniZio Sports after selling his last pro sports team in late 2018. After being released from arguably the worst team in pro hockey in Roanoke (ECHL) at 19 years old, Tommy began operating hockey teams at the entry level. His passion for running teams quickly propelled him through the ranks making him the youngest GM in the ECHL at 26 years old. Eventually earning part ownership of a team, Benizio was able to transition into football launching the Indoor Football League in 2003. Having served in various position from team owner to league commissioner, Tommy has become well known as a leader in the industry over nearly 30 years in the business. A true captain of his ship, he is well versed in every area of successfully operating professional sports teams but his specialty is in training teams in sales and in promotional and marketing efforts. Benizio is in love with his Wife Jessica and their daughter Giuliana and he still enjoys hitting the ice regularly.
An Amazing Support Team
Developing relationship and really, true friendships over the decades, our sports marketing and sales training company has been blessed with the support of several great sports executives that are here as needed to assist you and your team in any needs that you may have. Leading them is Ronnie Davis (pictured), former senior-level executive with the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, and Dallas Mavericks. Additionally, Ronnie launched the Dallas Sidekicks indoor soccer team and operated it as team owner for several successful years. He brings a wealth of sales and marketing knowledge, as well as character professionalism to us.
Ronnie is joined by John Nevarez Jr. who has served in entry-level roles from account executive through team president roles in various sports leagues including his time as eth top producing ticket sales person in the XFL. His energy and ability to train are remarkable assets to BeniZio!
